UFO and Daffodils

I found this in a tote bag in my closet along with several scrunchies and three finished afghan squares.  I think it was supposed to be a jewelry bag.  The yarn is hidden behind the bottle.  It's not fastened off yet.  I don't remember if there was a pattern or if I just made it up.

Look how perfectly it fits the empty iced coffee bottle.  I'm going to make a separate piece for the top so it can still be removed from the bottle for washing.

It's been a rainy, dreary day so I cut a few daffodils and brought them in.
Enjoy your weekend!

Progress on Two Afghans

I'm sorry I've been neglectful of  blogging.  I have been crocheting but also winter sowing, anxiously watching the daffodils, visiting lots of wonderful blogs (there are so many), and attempting some spring cleaning.

I have edged twenty of the Fisherman's Ring Squares.  I think I will join them together now and do something different with the remaining squares.

I've finished almost two rows of edging on my Ticking Stripe Afghan.  It was well on its way before I discovered Lucy at Attic 24 or it would be bright and multicolored instead of just blue and white.  I'm planning to use Lucy's Picot Edging in the blue for the last row.

Have a beautiful day!
